The reason we designed Lock Security is, no matter what you pay to buy a Padlock practically all padlocks are vulnerable to the three methods used by 99% of thieves to break a Padlock, they are a Leverage Attack, Hammer Attack or Bolt Cutter Attack. Lock Security STOPS a thief breaking a Padlock using one of the three above-mentioned methods above.

Together with 10mm diameter High Tensile Chain, you can purchase from us that:
Cannot be cut with a:
The common tool used to cut a link in the Chain or cut the padlock's Shackle.
This ensures any asset secured with Lock Security and 10mm diameter High Tensile Chain is virtually theft proof.
The following explains how a Padlock can be broken by a
Leverage Attack, Hammer Attack or Bolt Cutter Attack.
A Leverage Attack involves twisting the Chain to make it taut then place a spanner around the Padlock Body then pull down and turn.
This is Very Quick and Very Quiet.
One of the following will happen:
The average Padlock only requires a 10 inch spanner to break it. For the small percentage of people who have bought a more robust Padlock all that is required to break them is a longer spanner or as you can see in the picture above and to your right, place a hollow steel tube on the end of the spanner to gain additional leverage.
A Leverage Attack is a Quick and Easy Method to Break any size Padlock.
The fact is: If a thief can place a spanner around the Padlock Body or it's Shackle and twist it, the Padlock will break.
Hit the top edge of the Padlock Body with a Hammer or Hammer and Cold Chisel or Screwdriver to break apart the Padlock.
Use a Bolt Cutter to cut a link in the Mild Steel Chain that is normally used or cut the padlock's Shackle.
Thieves love Mild Steel Chain and a cheap Padlock because all they need is a Bolt Cutter to cut a link of the Mild Steel Chain or the padlock's Shackle or they use a Hammer or Hammer and Cold Chisel or Screwdriver to break apart the Padlock.
The problem with a cheap Padlock and Mild Steel Chain is:
Most people use Mild Steel Chain and a cheap Padlock thinking it is adequate security, as per the picture to your right:
Like most solutions it was relatively simple to solve the problem of STOPPING a thief using a Leverage Attack, Hammer Attack or Bolt Cutter Attack to break a Padlock.
Enclose the Padlock inside a
