Lock Security is manufactured from 316 Stainless Steel. Anyone who knows the difference between Mild Steel, 304 Stainless Steel and 316 Stainless Steel are probably wondering why we chose the expensive 316 Stainless Steel to manufacture Lock Security and not cheap Mild Steel or the less expensive 304 Stainless Steel, keep reading.
We decided to manufacture Lock Security from 316 Stainless Steel and not 304 Stainless Steel because 316 Stainless Steel has additional benefits.
316 Stainless Steel is used to manufacturer products that need to resist corrosive environments. Some of these include:

Although Mild Steel is between one fifth to one quarter the cost of 316 Stainless Steel to purchase, Mild Steel rusts very quick especially near sea water vapour.
Why not use Mild Steel and Powder Coat it?
Answer, it would not matter if we did Powder Coat Mild Steel because due to how Lock Security is used it will get marks on it and one small clip in the Powder Coating will allow dampness to creep under the Powder Coating then rust appears.

Lock Security is manufactured from 316 Stainless Steel and the shape is cut on a CNC cutting machine. This ensures the highest quality of workmanship, precise measurements and quality control procedures for each Lock Security.
Please Note: We cannot guarantee each Lock Security will be completely mark free.
There are NO bolts or screws used in the construction of Lock Security.
